Range day with some Snubbies and a couple of boomers

First a Ruger SP 101, everything is at seven yards for the snubbies.

Slow first, then fast.

Next is a Colt Detective Special from 1978, yeah it’s 48 years old.

Now for the pocket gun I usually have on me. S&W 642 worked over by Teddy Jacobson and a laser grip.

Now for the Boomers. S&W model 25 in 45 Colt.

And finally a Remington clone single action, also in 45 Colt.

the 45 Colts were back to 10 yards. Everything standing unsupported, double action except the Clone.

good stuff

You gotta change out the carry ammo from time to time, it doesn’t last forever.
If you’ve been around here for very long, you know the drill.
10 yards, standing unsupported, 5 rounds in a playing card, no timer.
And you should be able to “make the shot”

9mm first. S&W M&P full size with a chop job and stippling, white dot sights. Underwood 124 grn +P

S&W 586 L-Comp with action done by Bob Munden, DA hammer by me. Federal finally made an HST in 357 magnum, 154 grain. It really likes this load a lot.

The Monster. S&W 629PC 44 magnum. Action done by Denny Reichard (RIP) DA hammer by me. Federal HST 230 grain 44Mag.

And of course the 45ACP. Springfield Armory Champion Operator. Refinish and work don’t by Novak. Speer 230 grain Gold Dot.

need another target

The Beloved. Pistol Dynamics Custom XO, fluted barrel, active recoil plug, hand made, custom serial number. The lovey wife bought this one for an anniversary (I don’t remember which) Underwood 230 grain +P Gold Dot.

It shoots anything very well. Custom grips by Wicked Grips.

even a bad day at the range is better than a good day at work.
